LibraryThing book review...Water for Elephants: written by Sara Gruen
First, I must say that I absolutely adore this book! It is about Jacob Jankowski who is currently in a nursing home and not happy about it. As a young man, he was planning on becoming a veterinarian, but as we all know...life can be unpredictable. He ends up joining a circus...this book is really about his life with the circus. I loved all the characters, even the ones we are supposed to hate. The story is marvelous and the ending was perfect. A great book, one I will give to all my friends:)
