Tuesday Thingers

Today's topic: Book-swapping. Do you do it? What site(s) do you use? How did you find out about them? What do you think of them? Do you use LT's book-swapping column feature for information on what to swap? Do you participate in any of the LT communities that discuss bookswapping, like the Bookmooch group for example?
I love to book-swap! It is so much fun & mostly free-a good deal for everyone. I started with Bookmooch, which I love & still use. I use Bookmooch the most. I joined PaperBackBookSwap about a month ago & also like it. I think book-swapping sites are great & provide a valuable service-recycling books & providing people with books who can't always afford to go out & buy books brand new. I also check out LT for books people want to swap or give away books & plan on giving some of my ARCs away on LT. I have so many books now, I really should stop, but WHO can stop???

I know! That's how I've ended up with nearly 200 books on Mt. TBR. I... just.... can't.... stop.

Hi Julie, I like your site! First time here from LT. I haven't started yet but reading all these posts makes me wonder if I should:)I noticed in your sidebar you're reading In the Woods. It's on my TBR pile, look forward to your review!

Yes, how are you liking The Woods? I don't have it yet - but maybe someday!

I have had The Woods on my wishlist forever! I figure by the time I get it, the next one will be out. :)

I agree - I keep telling myself I need to stop, but it's addicting!

I think, if I did start, like you I too wouldn't be able to stop.

I've been telling myself for years that my book addiction is under control.
I've gotten alot of eye-rolling looks for stating this :)

I totally agree in the recycling method of books. But then again, I am pro-recycling about everything...lol!

How are you enjoying IN THE WOODS? I have it coming soon from the library. I want to read her second book that's out too.

HAH! It's not an addiction, I swear. (I can hear my husband rolling his eyes from here.) I can't wait for your review of Into the Woods!
